The exhibition reflects the artist’s view of footwear as a symbol for the mutual fascination that exists between genders. Here, the artist developed her idea of attraction and domination: the woman seen by the man as something mysterious, unattainable and unfathomable; the man seen by the woman as a flâneur, a dandy, or a puppet for her own passions and indecisiveness.
This exhibition serves as an excuse to design objects that have always been in the artist’s fetishistic universe.
Exposición que refleja la visión que la artista tiene del calzado como símbolo de la fascinación mutua de los sexos. En ella la artista desarrolló su idea de la atracción y la dominación: la mujer vista por el hombre como algo misterioso, inalcanzable, indescifrable; el hombre visto por la mujer como un flâneur, como un dandy, o como un títere de sus propias pasiones e indeterminaciones.
Esta exposición es una excusa para diseñar objetos que siempre han estado en el universo fetichista de la artista.
